Voters who have requested absentee ballots and those on the permanent absent voter list will receive ballots from their local clerk. Voters who want to request an absentee ballot can apply for one at the local clerk's office. Absentee ballots can be returned by mail, to the local clerk's office or to an official drop box in the district where the voter resides. Absentee ballots must be received by the local clerk by 8 p.m. on election day.
